Our Mandate

We desire to be a birthing place for the many strategies that God desires to bring forth to reach our community and world.

We desire to serve Christ by, fostering and nurturing His "new ministry" strategies, building our community and others up spiritually, equipping the saints for service and networking and partnering with other ministries to enable the Body to fulfill its call and destiny.

Our Mission in Parts:

1. Strategic Prayer

Across Canada there is a rising of prayer and intercession for our nation from sea to sea; a call to prayer for reconciliation and healing within the Body of Christ and our nation. There is a deep desire for more of the Lord to dwell with us, to rest on us, so we might experience greater intimacy with Christ and experience personal and national revival. A passionate heart in Canada; the heart of the Bride, is crying out for her Bridegroom. Have you heard it, felt it? As a growing ministry body, we are crying out together on behalf of our churches, community (Haliburton County) and our nation in prayer. God desires to bring his Church into Unity now, to heal broken relationships, break pride, selfish ambition and religious spirits that He might display his glory in our nation in days to come.

2. Discipleship and Spiritual Growth

Tall Oaks Christian Academy

Our young people/children specifically, live in a culture that has become increasingly hostile to Biblical teaching and standards. Our society and educational system have strayed from the eternal principles of God. Through prayer, we have felt led to establish a Christian School in Haliburton County, so parents might have a Biblical educational alternative that would encourage spiritual growth in their children daily. We plan to use the Accelerated Christian Education Program to make Christian Education affordable for families in our community. Accelerated Christian Education has been providing high quality, high standard, and high results education for over the past thirty years, with over 170 schools located throughout Canada. Initially started in the U.S. in 1970, ACE now serves 7000 schools in 135 countries worldwide.

3. Missions

We also believe that our faith grows as we take steps outside our comfort zones and that God desires his children move to new levels of trust in and dependency on Him. Experiences in mission settings are one of the ways God does this in our lives.

Missionaries Don and Judith McKay have served and continue to serve the Lord in missions locally and abroad through PTWIA. Support for Don and Judith’s ministry work may be directed their way by designating gifts toward “McKay Missions”.

Next Mission trip is to Jamaica in December 2005.

We are also supporting the work of Compassion Canada through Advocacy work and Sponsor Development. We can make a difference…one child at a time! Ask us about sponsoring a child in a third world country.

4. Bible Distribution

We also desire to provide Bibles for distribution in mission settings, at home or abroad. Request can be made by contacting our ministry office directly.

In Summary

Our community and nation are in the midst of much stirring by God’s Spirit. Our prayer for you is that there is a new thirst created in you for God’s presence and holiness. That a renewed passion is fanned and that you begin to pursue your Saviour with new fervor and purpose. Don’t give up church! Press in and press through for the destiny that God has for you.
